During this project I Worked on: 

  • Messaging between the game and 3rd party applications

  • Ping system

I joined the team late 2018 as an intern and in may the following year i got hired as a junior programmer. My first assignment was to fix some messaging between Battlerite and a 3rd party application. When that was done I made a ping system for Battlerite and Battlerite Royale. The pings are context sensitive (the ping meant different things if you for example pinged on an ally or an enemy), networked and also able to be sent by pinging either the minimap or the objects or ground in game. That meant that I had to touch a lot of different areas in the game and it was a great learning experience.
