In this project i was the lead programmer, which meant a lot of planning, communication between disciplines and decision making. It was a really challenging but fun task. I feel like i learnt a lot and grew from the experience. It taught me the importance of having a thought out plan and good communication.
The game Hellgun is a first person experience similar to the “Vermintide” games or the “Killing Floor” games, where the player can freely move around in a set 3D environment and needs to survive waves after waves of enemies. To fight back at the enemies, the player is equipped with a modifiable weapon.
